Fruit Overdose Vs Fruit Justice

There used to be a point in my life when I thought that eating too much fruit could be “harmful” to my body. Mainly because of 2 reasons - 1) I was afraid it may contribute to excess calories and thus weight gain, 2) I was afraid of malnutrition by missing out on other “important food groups like flesh foods, dairy/cooked grains etc”, and 3) I was afraid it may cause diabetes.

Let’s take a more scientific approach to things:

First of all, there are 3 concepts we are looking at here - the first is Overeating Calories, the second is Malnutrition, and the third is The Real Cause of Diabetes.

The Link Between Yoga and Raw Foods - (Part II)

When I first took up Yoga 5 years ago, it was to complement my strenuous work-outs and marathon trainings. After just a short 2 months on yoga, there were noticeable improvements in both my recovery rate and stamina. I found that my joints did not hurt as much, muscle aches eased off faster and it was easier to maintain steady breathing during strength training.

Raw Fitness - Truly Awesome or Just Getting By?

“Fitness”, is a such a familiar word. Often when we hear the word “fitness”, we have the mental image of an athlete with a firmed, tanned body, and a stamina better than normal people.
