My Raw Vegan Journey – Checking in on 2011 Chinese New Year Season (4 years Journey)

In previous years, I’d go about preparing for New Year by queuing up for “Ba Gua” (super unhealthy roasted pork), “Ba Hu” (equally unhealthy roast pork floss) and the most famous Pineapple Tarts in town for that year. I’ve always loved to eat, and I’d even take leave just to queue for my favorite New Year snacks!
As I transformed from “Junk Food Queen” to “Raw Food Queen”, have I detached myself from the love of eating? Not at all; I still love to indulge my taste buds, and in fact, I take even greater delight in savoring the finest flavors from my palates now.
What I did is to simply to invent Raw Vegan Ba Hu – made with Raw Coconut Flakes and Coconut Butter!
