Global organic food consumption has doubled over the period 2002 to 2006. Standing at an impressive US$40b as at 2006, it is one of the fastest growing sectors in the food industry. In Singapore, we have also seen rapidly climbing sales where in 2007 alone, distributors and retailers reported a doubling in sales of organic foodstuffs, skincare & baby products.

Do You Microwave?

Are you one of the many who owns a microwave and appreciates its convenience? I was definitely one of them, being the busy executive who is always running short on time. At one point in my life, I was using the microwave oven to cook anything from packaged foods, pop corn, vegetables, meat and even warm drinks & soups. And man, I was definitely not in the best of shape then!
